Bloom is currently accepting volunteers! Bloom welcomes current undergraduate or post-graduate students who are interested in pursing a career as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant, with a pediatric focus.

• Volunteers to be self-motivated, independent, creative, flexible, a good communicator and willing to learn

• Must be respectful to the Therapist/Client during the session

• Save any questions/comments until the end of the session

• During a session, match your affect to those of the therapist/client

• Minimum of 35 hours. The first 10 hours are probationary to ensure that you are a good fit with current clients and therapists

• Must be willing to sign statements of confidentiality and follow standard HIPPA practices 

• Mutual approval at the discretion of the family

• Volunteers must track their own hours to be signed off each week

• Must  show proof of negative TB test and full requirements for a background check
